As part of our commitment to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, the majority of which in the travel environment are created by air travel, we have partnered with Sustainable Travel International. They are addressing global climate change by supporting high quality high impact carbon offset projects around the world. To protect your investment all of the projects are verified and or certified by independent third parties. You therefore invest in renewable energy and energy efficiency projects that reduce carbon emissions.
On your booking confirmation you will receive a link that allows you to enter your flight destination and your individual carbon usage is automatically calculated. Whilst we encourage our travelers to participate in this program we by no means expect you to do so. As an example, the emissions for a roundtrip flight for two people between New York and Lima, Peru would equate to 9.0555 tons of Carbon Dioxide. The cost to offset this is $138.10. A small fraction of your airfare cost!!!
